I received a call from someone claiming to be with BT, keen to discuss "your internet service" and wanting me to verify who I was. When I pushed back a bit and mentioned that scam calls are against the law, he got rather defensive. I ended up cutting the call short! Just a heads up, this landline number doesn’t seem to have any legitimate ties to British Telecom.
