Picked up and was told it was just a quick survey, 'only a minute', she said. I had to keep telling her I’m on the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) like three times before she finally hung up.

I keep getting phone calls from this number every single day. Each time, they don’t bother leaving a message on my answering machine. The first occasion I picked up, there was absolute silence on the other end. Since then, I’ve let the calls ring through because I have caller ID, and I'm not keen on engaging with this hassle. It’s quite frustrating, to say the least!

Today it wasnt one of those prerecorded messages, just the typical info fishing. When I asked who they were calling for, they just cut me off, which seems like a definite scam. Could be risky if you end up sharing anything with them. The number was spoofed and there was a big lag before anyone picked up, so maybe calling from abroad or something.
