I received a phone call this afternoon from someone claiming to be from Virgin, supposedly involved with some engineering tasks nearby. Quite the fabrication, if you ask me! The overly chirpy young fellow eventually pivoted to the classic tactic of inquiring about who manages the broadband payments. Just another instance of those persistent scammers trying their luck from who knows where-seems like a regular occurrence around here on a dreary Monday afternoon!
