I reckon they're swapping numbers between themselves. Mostly people pretending to be from the council. I never pick up - these cowards just hide behind their screens. Honestly, I'd like to confront them face to face one day.

I got a call from this number claiming they’re from the local council here in the UK, asking if I had any rubbish on my property that might be causing problems. I told them yes, but I’d already reported it and got an appointment set for an inspection in January. They said they’d ring me back after January, but honestly, their chat made me suspicious. It feels like a scam to me now.
