When I pressed the caller for how they managed to acquire my phone number, they flat-out refused to say. They even addressed me by my first name, which absolutely irked me as I’ve never had any prior engagement with them! To top it off, they had my old road name but got my house number all wrong. I pointed out that they were cold calling me, and they seemed to take umbrage at that! They outright dodged my inquiries about their identity and how they found my details. When I kept pushing for more information, they claimed I was “raging” at them, and promptly hung up on me.
