I received a rather bothersome call from what I gather is a debt collection agency. The chap on the line, who clearly had no regard for my solitude as a solitary bloke, was on the hunt for someone named Laura. Curiously, he refused to reveal his identity, but insisted that, despite my clear disassociation from this Laura, they were keeping my number on file and would almost certainly ring me again. What a farce! Quite rude, if you ask me, so I promptly blocked the number. However, the very next week, they rang back with a different number-just one digit altered! Naturally, I blocked that one as well, but lo and behold, they tried again from yet another different number with one more minor tweak! It’s appalling how these companies operate-harassment and all, and yet they seem to escape any real consequences. I strongly advise steering clear of this number or any that come close to it; they’re nothing short of a nuisance!
