I’ve been getting calls from them every day now. Just picked up about five minutes ago and some English bloke was on the line saying “Hello? Is this NAME?” then he just cut off straight away. They somehow already know the mobile contract holder’s name, which is a bit creepy.

Honestly, since we changed our phone and internet supplier a couple of months back, the scam calls have been non-stop. At first, they were mostly from India, but now loads are coming from the UK too. Feels like someone from that new company is sneaking out our numbers or something. Proper annoying!

I seem to get this number and calls from "Private" pretty much every day. I just hang up straight away once it stops ringing. I've noticed the same happening on my landline too, and honestly, my best tip is to just ignore them. When it’s on the landline, I let it ring out, see who’s calling, and only bother calling back if it’s someone I know. It’s just a phone after all - not some emergency gadget! Though plenty of people seem glued to theirs all day long! ;-)

Got a call from someone claiming to be from management, sounded off but they seemed really clued up. Definitely felt like a scam, kept pushing with all sorts of info that didn’t add up. Was pretty persistent too, wouldn’t give up easily. Would say watch out for this one!

If you don’t tell them to quit ringing, they’ll just keep dialling. From what I’ve seen, the nicest way to get them to stop is just to kindly request to be removed from their calling list. So this lot are basically one of those companies that cold call you out of the blue, trying to see if you’ve got a claim so they can chase it and then take a slice of whatever you might get. I gave them a ring back and all I got was an automated message. Just tell them you’re not interested, want off their marketing lists, and you don’t give them or anyone else permission to use your details for anything else. After that, they should leave you alone.

Honestly, these callers are such a nuisance! I've started asking my mates and family to just hurry up and say who they are as soon as I answer, makes it easier to spot who's on the line. My way of dealing with these calls is pretty simple: I just stay quiet and listen. If I catch any silence or hear the buzz of a call centre in the background, I hang up straight away. Seriously, never get pulled into a chat with them - just end the call quick. They're totally used to being ignored anyway!

I've found that if you just don't pick up when this number rings, it eventually thinks your line isn't in use and they stop calling. I dont ever answer calls unless the number is one I know and have saved. If they aint saved, then they dont need to be ringing me at all.
