Got four calls from them today, all automated messages left on my voicemail. Definitely some kind of spam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Adwords, then they tried to patch me through to an Adwords partner. I checked with Adwords themselves and they confirmed they don't do calls like this. Seems pretty dodgy to me.

No greeting or anything, he just blurted out my name right away. I asked who was on the line and he said “It’s Jordan,” but then went quiet. When I pressed him for the company he was with, it was hard to make out the name and he didn’t explain what they actually do or why he called. I told him straight up, “Are you going to tell me why you’re calling or should I hang up?” His answer was basically “Better if you hang up.” Complete time waster, definitely a dodgy caller probably targeting folks who won’t push back or question them.
