I received a call from someone claiming to be from AdWords, and they ended up connecting me with what they referred to as an AdWords partner. However, I've since been informed that AdWords never operates this way, which makes me quite dubious about the whole situation.

The caller didn’t bother to greet me; instead, they jumped right in with my name. When I probed for their identity, they simply stated, "It's Jordan." After that, there was an awkward silence until I inquired about the origin of the call, but the name of the business was rather murky. He offered no insights into what the company was about or the purpose of the call. So, I pressed him a bit, asking, "Are you going to explain the reason for this call, or should I hang up?" To which he coolly responded, "You might as well hang up." What a complete waste of time! Definitely had the vibes of a scam artist, likely preying on those who might not question things or stand up for themselves.
