A rather rude British chap called us out of the blue, rambling on about reclaiming more than 600 bank charges from the last six years. We tried to explain that we've probably only had about three charges in our entire lives, so we were left wondering what on earth he was talking about. He quickly apologised for the disturbance and hung up. The odd thing is, he never bothered to ask for our name, yet somehow seemed to know exactly who we were. Complete numpty!

Received a call from 01616625081, and the chap on the line said he was from Customer Claims. I’m a bit puzzled-who exactly is this?

Give us a bell today, would you? Inquire about any bank fees we've incurred for overdrafts or if there's been a refusal on credit. We clearly mentioned 'no', and then they just hung up on us. Quite peculiar, that American twang in their voice!

This number just called us after we had put in a claim and hung up almost immediately. It's rather puzzling and I'm left wondering who these folks are and what their intent was. Quite strange behaviour, I must say!

Today, we received a call from a certain company, and being just 18, I was rather taken aback. They claimed that there are outstanding payments concerning a mortgage and a credit card. Honestly, we suspect they might be up to no good-definitely seems like a scam to us!

It’s a bit strange, isn’t it? I thought to look up the number and stumbled upon this page! Just had a call a mere ten seconds ago claiming we can reclaim all of our bank charges. I’m puzzled as to how they knew about the fees I might have racked up!

An exceedingly irritating person has been probing into matters concerning the reimbursement or insurance related to banking fees. They mentioned that the bank had somehow received my telephone number.

Received a call from this number earlier, but there was no one on the line. I could, however, make out some chatter and noises in the background. Quite odd!

Received a call from this lot on our mobile, which we decided to overlook since we weren't familiar with them. Looked them up here and relieved we did. We've just switched to a new contract with Orange, so we’ll need to touch base with them to sort out what's happening. We usually opt for the 'no contact' option, but maybe we just assumed our old choices would carry over to the new deal!

Received a call from someone claiming to be affiliated with customer claims or something to that effect, asking us for our banking details. We hung up immediately. The caller had a distinctly British accent, quite noticeable.

Received a call from this number and decided to return the favour, but nobody picked up. The voice sounded distinctly American, yet the area code was from the UK. Quite peculiar, I must say!

The caller reached out to my mobile but didn’t bother to identify themselves. They inquired about when we would reclaim our bank charges, but as soon as we said we didn’t want any further calls, they abruptly hung up. Definitely sounds like a suspicious operation to me!

I recently received a call from this number and, out of curiosity, I decided to look it up online. I stumbled upon this website. Is there anyone out there with any insights? After a brief pause, the callers identified themselves as a company named Customer Claims, reaching out to individuals in the UK regarding the retrieval of bank charges. What on earth is going on here?

We were asked about our bank charges once we sorted out the refunds. (I haven't actually applied for any bank charge reimbursement.) We let them know we'd sort it out directly with our bank in person. Just a tip-don't share any details with these folks.

We just received a call from these individuals, and the moment we mentioned that we don’t disclose that sort of information, they promptly hung up. It appears they're only looking to profit from those who might be a bit gullible.

Just had a call from this number about ten minutes back! It completely disturbed our slumber. We were up until the wee hours, toiling over our assignments, and now I’m wide awake and not at all happy about it!

Blimey, you won't believe it! These folks rang us right in the middle of our art class. Can you imagine how mortifying that was? Our phone was blaring away because we hadn't set it to silent, and we couldn't pick it up. Not that we could anyway - our teacher had strictly told us to stow our phones!

We’ve just received a call from this number and asked the folks on the other end where they were located. They claimed to be based in Manchester. The way they spoke had a rather convincing tone, almost as if they were representatives from our bank. Quite suspicious, to be honest!

Received a call from this number, and when we answered, there was utter silence on the other end. I've looked into the number and it advised to give them a ring back. Curiously, it seems to be linked to Punjab, but I’m based in the UK! What gives?

This number rang our office mobile, and when we answered, they hung up straight away. It’s probable they were just verifying that the line was in use or realised they’d reached a business rather than a personal mobile. Quite strange behaviour, if you ask me!

Not long ago, we received a phone call (which led to my earlier post), and coincidentally, my partner also had a similar incident the day before, both involving dubious claims about bank charges. Strangely enough, both calls were directed to my mobile phone. My husband has only had her mobile number since Christmas! We decided to inform the police about this suspicious number. They seem quite keen to gather more information and are encouraging others to share any experiences they've had. It's crucial that we find out the chap’s name, the company he’s associated with, and so forth. I’m convinced that someone is bound to fall for this trick and end up losing their hard-earned money.
