Received a call from this number, and the chap on the other end claimed we had shown interest in upgrading our iPhone (which we acquired via O2). He insisted that we weren't eligible for an upgrade, which seemed a bit off to me! However, it became clear he was poised to sell us something once he realised he had miscalculated our contract dates. He thought we were due for an upgrade on the 11th of April 2008, when in fact, it’s the 4th of November 2008. After realising the mix-up, he expressed his gratitude and hung up. Just another outfit trying to push an upgrade on our plan, it seems.

This number was still ringing me up back in March 2015 in the States. I noticed it shows on Vodafone worldwide with some Euro charges. I ended up blocking it. If you’re on an HTC, just open the people app, tap the three dots in the top right corner, select manage contacts and from there you can block the offending number. :)

I received a call from a mobile phone sales team just when I was looking to cut expenses on my phone contract. Being on a Pay As You Go plan, they clearly got it wrong.
