I got a call from Markerstudy, they handle insurance claims for other companies. It’s a genuine number, no worries. When I filed my claim, Markerstudy were managing it on behalf of the insurer.

I wasn’t sure who it was, so I just let it ring out. They called me two times, once yesterday and once today. Decided to check the number here before picking up. I’m not planning to answer it. Cheers for the info, really helpful.

Just got another call, but this time from a different guy. He claimed to be calling for Markerstudy (don’t know why, they’re not involved in the accident at all). Same questions, same spiel, and of course, same answers from me. Seems like ambulance chasers who must’ve been handed my info by someone looking to make quick cash. Didn’t bother correcting them on the date of the crash though, so they're clearly working with rubbish details. Wonder what other nonsense they’ve been fed!

They had my full name, car number plate and even the exact date of my car accident. They told me I could claim a huge pay-out, like five figures. But they had no clue it was a hit and run where the other driver didn't stop or leave info. When I told them this, they just said 'that's fine' and then cut me off. Sounds like my insurance, the repair firm or the garage might have leaked my details. Absolutely the worst kind of scammers.

I got another call from them earlier today. As soon as I picked up, they just ended the call.
