Someone rang me about a loan or something, I had no clue what they were on about, so I just said that and then they ended the call.

Once he rattled on for a couple of minutes, I cut straight to the chase and asked if the whole point was for me to hand over cash so he could get me on Google's first page. To his credit, he just said ‘yeah’. He didn't argue and didn’t really have a response when I said he could’ve saved us both a lot of hassle by being upfront. Bit of a thankless gig, but at least he was courteous enough.

Got a call from some claim company saying they got my info from the road traffic accident association. I asked them what that was because I’d never heard of it before, and then they just hung up on me. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
