A message suddenly appeared while I was browsing saying there was an issue with my computer and I had to ring this number, supposedly the Microsoft support team, to stop the problem from spreading to all my devices.

This number looks like a scam to me. I think it’s linked to some kind of virus that makes your system crash and then pops up a message telling you to call them for help. Legit companies don’t do stuff like this at all.

I reckon this might be some dodgy character attempting to gain remote control of your computer to pilfer your passwords and financial information. Best to steer clear!
