When I pointed out that I wasn't actually with their service, he seemed to ignore my comment and just continued parroting from his script. Despite the number appearing as a local call from Manchester, it's worth noting that such numbers can be spoofed to show up as familiar digits on your phone, meaning they could be phoning in from anywhere at all. The fellow on the other end was certainly articulate and had an English accent. It all seems to be a rather blatant attempt to siphon off customers.
