Reports on phone number 01616605399
9 yearsI've noticed that this number pops up and it’s basically some sort of Trojan that infiltrates your computer. You’ll hear a voice claiming that all your information is being harvested, including your passwords. Meanwhile, your screen goes unresponsive and your cursor wobbles all over the place as if you’ve lost control entirely. Getting out of this mess with the usual keys is nearly impossible, and I found myself yanking the plug just to reboot. This number always tops the list for contacting someone, with the voice insisting it’s Microsoft. They warn that if you don’t ring them for “quarantine instructions,” they’ll have to shut you down to prevent any impact on the web. It’s utter nonsense, honestly, but that’s the situation... I’ve encountered this a few times while trying to download from The Pirate Bay.MicrosoftThePirate Bay9 yearsOi mate, I really don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but that number you've got is definitely dodgy. Most antivirus software, like Malwarebytes, doesn’t cost a penny. Those blokes pretending to be from Microsoft’s support are just trying to pull a fast one. I'd advise getting in touch with your bank pronto and sorting out a refund. Stay safe!Microsoft9 yearsA while back, I received a rather alarming alert on my laptop, claiming that it had contracted a virus while I was attempting to stream a film online. The message instructed me to ring a certain number, asserting that it led to a Microsoft support service. Being desperate, I went ahead and called. They accessed my computer and pointed out numerous IP addresses that they claimed were linked to hacking attempts, supposedly stemming from the internet service I had been using. In the end, they convinced me to purchase some sort of special codes, akin to antivirus software, to eliminate these threats. I ended up shelling out £150 for these codes, but thankfully, my computer is now running like a dream.MicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (0161 660 5399)
