I received a call from someone claiming that my wife had registered with them for a PPI claim. However, she hasn’t engaged with any paperwork nor signed up for anything, as she mostly invests in stocks. My own PPI claim was directly submitted to the lending company we borrowed from. Now, they’re demanding a hefty 20% of a payout that they clearly haven’t facilitated. It’s quite baffling how they got wind of our successful claim - it almost feels like they’re in cahoots with the loan provider. Very suspicious indeed. - Caller: 01616604557

I've just come across a rather distressing situation involving a firm named HD Law. They've tried to pull a fast one by attaching what they assert to be my signature onto some documentation authorising them to pursue PPI claims on my behalf. I can assure you, that scribble looks absolutely nothing like my signature! Now, they're demanding a whopping 20% cut from the PPI refund that landed in my lap, claiming that I consented to this arrangement, which is simply not the case. The caller was a lady named Kira from HD Law. Disgraceful!
