Got loads of calls from this lot. I've nicely told them to quit phoning me and take me off their list. Today they said I wasn’t aware of some new stuff, so that’s why they keep ringing. Proper annoyance!!

They ring me CONSTANTLY, so when I pick up I tell them nicely to ‘hang on a moment while I grab a pen’. Then I just leave the call active and leave my phone on the desk, getting on with whatever I’m doing. It’s funny watching how long it takes before they realise I’m not coming back and hang up. It’s a bit of payback since they bother us so much, plus it stops them from bugging anyone else while they wait and probably rakes up their phone bill too. Win-win!

I had to block them. They kept using a name that wasn’t mine and just talked over me every time I said it’s the wrong person. They just said, "Anyway, I’m calling to talk," like it didn’t matter. So rude and they wouldn’t stop ringing even after I told them to take me off their list loads of times.

I struggled to make sense of what the chap was saying, although I vaguely grasped the term PPI. I insisted thrice that he take my elderly father's number out of their system, but he continued to talk over me incessantly. I've gone ahead and reported the number to the ICO.
