I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said he was from Microsoft. He told me my PC was hacked and that I had to download some software he was gonna send me, or else Microsoft would block my computer. He even said he'd wait on the line while I logged in. I just left him waiting and carried on with my stuff. Honestly, he could still be there for all I care.

Got a call from some bloke with what sounded like a US accent saying he was “Tom Smith” about my Microsoft computer. When I told him straight up he was a con artist, a thief and just plain dodgy, he cut me off immediately. Watch out for these scammers!
