Got a call from someone saying they were from some legal aid about a car crash I supposedly had. They promised I'd get a £2500 cheque once her manager gathered some more info about the incident, but first she needed to verify the exact date. When I asked why, she said the insurance company gave her the date but she needed to double-check it. This is total rubbish - a scam for sure. Folks need to be cautious and report these calls to Action Fraud before more people fall for it.

So yeah, some insurance place must've handed out my phone number because I've been getting calls nonstop about some accident they say I had in the past couple years, which obviously never happened. They were really cheeky, telling me not to stress about how they got my details and kept calling me by my first name like we were mates or something. Honestly, it’s the kind of scam that could easily trick someone who’s not paying attention into giving away personal info.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from ‘legal care’ but then just went quiet and ended the call out of nowhere.

So I picked up when they rang but they just ended the call straight away. If lots of us share our experiences with these shady businesses we've dealt with, maybe we can figure out who's been sharing our info around. Anyone here ever had dealings with Camp solicitors or Lending Stream? I've got a feeling something's up, cos since Camp handled my accident claim a while back, I've been getting cold calls from other legal firms about it. What about you lot, which companies have you had to do with? Let's expose these crooks who are just after money and selling our personal details.

I dont recognise the number at all. Since theres loads of scam calls nowadays, I just dont pick up.
