I got a call today from 0161651501 claiming to be from some bank and said there had been two tries to use my card earlier this morning for £700 and £2000 on Amazon. Sounded fishy to me so I just put the phone down. Had similar calls before, so I doubt it was legit. The number's local but when I called it back, it didn’t seem to go through or wasn’t recognised. Pretty sure it's just another scam.
