I received a call earlier today from someone purporting to be from O2, touting a complimentary upgrade. I’ve got a strong suspicion that they’re not genuinely affiliated with O2, especially since they could even name the phone model I’ve got. Feels rather suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the "3 Upgrades Department," and they were offering a complimentary mobile phone upgrade. The curious thing was that they didn't have any of our account details. As soon as we pressed them for more information regarding what data they supposedly held, they abruptly hung up on us. So, I decided to reach out to Three directly, only to discover that they hadn't made such a call and, in fact, do not operate any call centre in the 0161 area code. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
