I got a call from someone claiming to be based in the UK, but the person on the line had a strong Indian accent. He said I was owed some benefits and started asking if I had life insurance. I told him to ring back after I’d had time to check into it, but he kept pressing me and wanted loads of personal details. Honestly, don’t pick up and just block the number straight away.

Got a dodgy call claiming to be from the UK government about life insurance. They tried to make it sound proper official but it was just a total scam. Really annoying how they try to trick you with all that fake authority stuff. Watch out, it’s a scam for sure.

I’ve had the same number ring me twice already, and the only thing the caller seemed to know was being rude. Can’t even repeat the stuff they said! Fingers crossed they don’t get in touch again.
