I got a call from Howard James Recruitment, and the woman who picked up sounded so rude and unhelpful. She didn’t want to tell me her name at first, but when I pressed her, she said it was Sarah. They don’t even take calls from blocked numbers now, which felt a bit odd. Honestly, I don’t think she knew much about what she was doing. She said she’s a recruitment consultant, but her attitude was far from professional - felt like she was being quite ageist as well. Definitely wouldn’t trust dealing with her.
