Got a call from 0161 638 3590 today and had a look on this site. It mentions Autotrader, so I’m guessing that’s where I had my car listed for about six weeks. From what I’ve read in the comments, something doesn’t seem right. When I last checked, my ad had over 300 views but only one phone call. The car was pretty cheap for the make, model and year. I spent £60 but still no sale. I’m gonna try other options now. Not using Autotrader again. Blocked the number too, no point paying if no one’s calling.

Got calls from Auto Trader sales again. Why bother paying for Auto Trader? It's way too over the top and costs a fortune. I’ve been comparing calls from them with Gumtree and Facebook, and honestly, they’re well behind now. Losing loads of customers and just hiking the prices to cover it. So long Auto Trader. Steer clear of Auto Trader, it's way too pricey and they stick your ad in the wrong spot. You end up with barely any calls because they forward your number “for safety,” but it backfires as folks reckon they’ll get charged or its some dodgy scam. Best to avoid Auto Trader altogether. Gumtree is way better and cheaper, and you can sell stuff much easier there.
