I just received a rather chilly call from someone who claimed they could propel us to the top spot on search engine results.

Received a call from this number (James), claiming to represent some sort of search engine service. He mentioned I'd need to fork out some cash for an advertisement to be one of the top three businesses on Google. To be honest, we're a tad uneasy about the legitimacy of this. Feeling quite anxious, to tell you the truth. Has anyone else encountered something similar?

I recently received a call from this number, claiming to be affiliated with Google. As I tried to ascertain whether she was legitimate, she outright threatened to remove our Google listing! When I asked her not to use threats, she resorted to calling me a “Brummie git.” Quite an unpleasant character, if you ask me. I believe this should be reported! Cheers, SC.

She was at it again. Just received a call from someone claiming to be with 'Google' earlier today. I've got a reputable company handling my SEO, so I politely passed on their offer. This all started after I set up a new business line and snagged a complimentary listing in the Yellow Pages.
