Avoid betta living if you can, or you'll get flooded with calls. They promise to remove your info from their list but never actually do. The calls might die down for a bit, but give it a month or so and they’ll be pestering you all over again.

This isn’t quite right, there’s another firm called Interior Contracts that actually works with bars and similar places. I’m employed with the Interior Contracts connected to Betta Living and was working with David for a few years. It is true that during slow periods in construction, we get a handful of contacts from Betta Living’s recent client visits to offer trade quotes. Everyone we call had willingly given their info to Betta Living, expecting a phone call. If some folks aren’t interested in potentially saving a few grand on their kitchen or bedroom, that’s their choice. But those who are usually end things on good terms.

They’ve been ringing me again today. This number keeps phoning my landline and mobile, often with just a short gap in between, mostly on Saturdays. It’s mad how they manage to have both my numbers - makes me wonder if someone’s leaking info to them. After one of their reps came by recently, I’ve been getting quite a few calls from ‘Betta Living’. They gave me a quote of around £7,640. Just today, I got two calls from a man named David who said he worked for Interior Contracts, which he claimed is connected to Betta Living. He asked what my original quote was and said he could offer a much better price since business apparently isn’t that busy right now. I agreed to another meeting for Saturday at 10am. Still, something felt off, so I searched online because I couldn’t get through to the number on my phone. Turns out Interior Contracts mostly work with bars, care homes, and restaurants. So I guess I’ll be tied up elsewhere on Saturday after all. I’ve hung up a few times already when I saw unfamiliar numbers, but this one caught me out. Appreciate the others who’ve shared similar experiences - it’s good to be warned in advance. Cheers!

We got a quote from Betta Kitchens, so I’m pretty sure it was them ringing. They initially came up with a crazy figure of £13,000, but then the planner knocked it down to about £6,000. After that, I lost faith in them - why couldn’t they just give their best price right from the start? Feels like loads of folks probably end up paying way too much if they’re not keen on haggling.

I rang them up after receiving the call, and when they picked up, they said it was just for marketing purposes and promised someone would get back to me. They've actually called me six times now.

After a few weeks of getting their calls though, I finally picked up, just curious really... and I’m so glad I did! They gave me a quote for a kitchen I’d already been quoted a ridiculously high price for somewhere else, and I managed to save more than £3500! Honestly, I would suggest anyone to answer and listen to the friendly, professional person on the line. For me, it cost me nothing but I gained loads! In fact, I saved so much on the kitchen that I’ve now hired the same company to do my bedroom. Can’t recommend them enough!
