Today, this number gave us a bell. To make matters worse, it’s not the first time I’ve had the delightful experience of being bothered by an 0161 number. Only the other day, I had a call from 0161 6271111 as well. So frustrating! They just let it ring, and when you pick up, it’s all silent. What a complete waste of time!

I received a rather persistent call from a company by the name of Financial Arbitration. They’re making bold claims about being able to wipe out your outstanding loans, supposedly by identifying 'breaches' in your contract. They appear quite pushy, almost insisting that you book an appointment for one of their agents to pop round and have a chat. It feels rather dodgy, as during the meeting, they conveniently introduce a hidden fee - which could range between £250 to £450, depending on your debts. Honestly, it has all the hallmarks of a scam to me!
