My phone shows caller ID, so I used this site to check the number and, unsurprisingly, it turned out to be just another annoying spam caller. Thankfully, I wasn't home when they rang. Since I’m with Sky, I can block the last caller by dialing 14258 then **. You could try asking Sky if they’ll let you use this service free for a month. I had to complain formally because they never actually set my number as ex-directory when I asked. I managed to get the blocking service free for a month to try it out. It’s definitely handy but they do charge for it afterwards.
