Yesterday I got a call from this number showing as Google on my caller ID. They said they were helping me finish a Google local ads application. Funny thing is, the same person called me a few months back with the exact same story. They mentioned someone named "Barny" was trying to set up local ads for my business and hinted the application might be dodgy. After looking into it, I’m pretty sure these lot are scammers and don’t have anything to do with Google like they said. Really suspicious behaviour!
