Got a call that sounded like it was from HMRC, with a robot voice telling me there was a tax fraud issue linked to me. They said if I didn’t press '1' to call back straight away, legal action would kick off. It didn't seem very genuine to me, but I guess it could trick some folks. The tax office might not be the nicest bunch, but if that’s how they handle problems, they really need a lesson in how to treat customers!
