Just a day after our chat with Believe Banking, we received a call. It certainly seems like it might have been from them.

I've received countless calls from them, even on our mobile number, which we hardly ever share. We've got a hunch that it might be linked to our recent signup with Believe Banking. When we tried to return the call, we struggled to catch exactly what the chap said or which company he was representing. It was all rather confusing, to say the least!

I didn’t catch this call at the time, but saw the number pop up on 1471. So, I thought I’d give it a bell back. Turns out it was a call centre or some sales outfit pushing financial services, claiming they had a loan application from us. The truth is, we’ve not applied for anything at all. Seems like they’re rummaging through a rather ancient database for leads.
