got a call today from fusion lead gen, the number was 01616046236. They were asking for a mr smith. Years back when I worked as a dialler manager, I set up a test entry with that name using my own mobile number. I checked the number they called, and it turned out to be invalid. This is definitely against OFCOM rules. Honestly, they’re just another spam outfit, so dont ever hand over your details to them. Plus, calling a number they had from an old record without any proper consent is a clear GDPR breach, especially since that permission expired ages ago. Avoid these lot!

Today, on 28th May 2021, just around 3 in the afternoon UK time, I got a random call from the number 0161 604 62 36. Didn’t even answer it, went straight to blocking it. Problem solved!
