I had a mishap over two years ago and still haven't said a peep about it! When I inquired of the chap on the line - he sounded Asian - who had put my name out there, he just started mumbling and hesitating. I told him straight that whoever it was was a downright liar, then hung up.

Got a call from 01615878541 on 27th Feb 2020 saying I could make a claim for a car accident I supposedly had. I never had any accident, so when I told the caller this, they got properly annoyed and kept going on. I just ended the call while they were still yacking away. Now I’ve blocked the number on my phone. Complete waste of time.

So I got a call from 0161 5878541 saying I’d been in a car crash back in 2018 and was owed £67,000 as compensation. I was like, no way, never happened. Decided to mess about with them for a bit. After they kept pestering, I told them to stop bothering me. The bloke then said I was rude, haha! Told him where he could shove it and then blocked the number.

Got a sales call that was a right pain, rang me up about some supposed car crash. I just blocked the number straight away, definitely not answering or calling them back. Total nuisance!

Got a call from 01615878541 telling me someone was involved in an accident. Bit worried, but not sure who they were talking about.

I got a call supposedly from a road accident helpline, telling me I'd been involved in a crash. I asked them when it supposedly happened, and they said sometime in the past year. When I said I hadn’t been in any accident, they tried again, asking if maybe a mate or family member was driving the car. I told them to take me off their call list, but then the guy on the other end got pretty aggressive, repeating “can I just ask one last question” over and over. They did know my name which made it seem real, but don’t be fooled, it’s dodgy.

Somebody called saying it was about an accident, but I told them I don’t drive (which isn’t true). Then they started asking if any of my family or mates had been in an accident. I just told them to find someone else to bother with their fishing trip.

I've been getting calls from this number a couple of times lately. It just rings once and then cuts off before I can pick up! Definitely one of those quick scam calls!

Got a call where they asked if anyone in my family had like a small accident or injury. The strange thing is, they already knew my name.

So this number rang me but I usually ignore calls from unknowns. Every now and then, I pick up just in case it’s something crucial. Sadly, loads of folks still don’t have caller ID, or they answer straight away fearing they’ll miss something important. It’s really upsetting that some people stoop to this level, trying to con others and steal their details or even money. I honestly don’t get how they sleep at night doing that.
