I picked up the phone and there was just silence. Then a woman spoke up saying she was from Vodafone. I’m not a Vodafone customer, so I ended the call and told my phone company it was spam.

Got a call from 0161 575 9877 today. Didn't think much of it at first, since I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, though honestly, it’s about as effective as a leaky nappy. This lady with an Indian accent answered but never bothered using my name, saying she was calling from Vodafone. I just told her to jog on, then hung up and blocked the number straight away.
