Today this number rang me and it was a recorded voice saying it was from hmrc. It warned me that if I didn’t press a button to talk to them, I’d get an arrest warrant sent out. It seemed really dodgy and scary. I’d say if you get this call, don’t panic and definitely check with hmrc yourself instead of trusting these calls!
