I didn’t pick up the call since it showed up flagged by my provider. The number is also on the TPS list, so I’m pretty sure it’s one of those dodgy cold calls. They didn’t even bother leaving a voicemail, which makes me think it’s a scam for sure.

Our landline hardly ever rings, so when it does, I get suspicious straight away. This call left no voicemail, which seemed odd to me. I looked into the number a bit more and it's obviously a scam. I didn’t answer, but another person mentioned that if you do, an automated message kicks in - which then marks your number as valid, and you might end up getting even more dodgy calls later on.

Got two calls back-to-back from this number. I checked it out here and it seems to be part of a bunch of similar ones. Didn’t pick up as I’m registered with TPS. Most likely a scammer.

Got a call today on my landline, I didn’t say a word and just listened. Then a robotic lady's voice started talking about energy savings and asked if I owned the house. The sound was really fuzzy and broke up a lot. I didn’t answer back and the call just ended. Funny thing is, I got a near-identical call yesterday around the same time but from a different number, with the same sort of automated message.
