Got a call from an unfamiliar number flagged as ‘possible spam’. Didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave a voicemail either. Just blocked it straight away.

The call didn’t come up as a scam, so I picked up. The person asked if I was (name), and I just said “who’s this?” He kept asking if I was (name), so I told him I’m on the TPS and demanded they take my number off their records. After that, he started hurling abuse and even threatened me with violence! Totally horrible experience.

Got a call from this number two times yesterday and once again today up to now. Yesterday, I picked up but stayed silent, could hear some kind of call centre noise in the background before I ended the call after about half a minute. Then, roughly an hour later, they rang again but I just declined it. Didn't pick up today 'cause I was tied up with stuff. Wonderin if they'll ring back tomorrow?
