Someone rang me up saying they were from BT about removing copper wires which could mess with my phone line since my number's apparently still on the older wires. When I started asking questions, they got quite sharp and not very helpful.

This bloke Ed rang me up from this same number saying he’s with BT wholesale. He kicked off by saying I could lose my phone number, then went on about how I might be paying too much. Honestly, the whole thing felt like some dodgy scam trying to sell me something. When I asked him to clear up a few bits, he got all defensive and wouldn’t properly answer.
