My phone showed a warning for POSSIBLE SPAM. I chose not to pick up even though they kept ringing for ages. After reading these comments, it seems like they’re faking being from O2. I’m with O2 myself. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust anyone who calls out of the blue.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, telling me my SIM would be deactivated the next day and they needed to post me a replacement. I told them I'd ring my nearest O2 store instead, and they sounded really annoyed. I rang O2 myself afterwards, and they confirmed it was a scam, thanked me for letting them know, and advised me to block the number.
