12 monthsI got a call from a woman with a strong accent claiming she worked for O2 or something about a SIM card. I had to ask her to say it again more than once because it was hard to catch what she was saying. She told me my SIM card was about to expire soon. I just said alright, cheers for the heads up. Then she suddenly said she’d send me a new one. I told her no fuss, thanks for ringing and hung up.12 monthsGot a call from an Indian bloke who kept telling me I was cute and hot, honestly so creepy. They must've somehow got hold of my number, feels like a scam to me. So disgusting!12 monthsLooks like a total scam to me. The person on the phone had a bad grasp of English and said they were from EE offering some kind of 5G upgrade. They mentioned my phone would be out of action for a day or two if I went ahead. Strangely, they didn’t know my name and only used the last four digits of my number to "prove" they were with EE - but surely they had my full number since they called me! I got suspicious and told them I'd ring EE myself, then ended the call.EE12 monthsBeware, total scam! Got a call from a man, sounds like Pakistani or Indian, saying the number was 02 and they wanted to send me some new G5 sim card, all dodgy stuff. Then he handed me off to another bloke who was clearly trying to rip me off too! They use fake proper British names to seem legit. Seriously, if you get calls like this, make sure to report them to action fraud by texting 7726. Don’t fall for their tricks!Action Fraud1 yearThey called me four times in a row, finally picked up on the last one and got some rude woman demanding money. Totally not happy with that.1 yearI told them I was with the fraud squad and straight away they told me good luck trying to catch us before hanging up on me.
