Got a call from some dodgy lot claiming to be from "Home Shield Services", trying to push a new warranty deal for my kitchen gadgets and TV. They said it was just a renewal and even dropped the price from what I supposedly paid before. Total scam to trick you into signing up for a service on Direct Debit so they can milk your money endlessly without doing a thing. Before this, I had another call from people pretending to be "Domestic and General" and "Home Appliances UK", and they wanted me to post a cheque to some random company. Proper con artists, watch out!
