I’ve been getting loads of texts from different numbers all over the UK, always about solar panels. They send recorded messages and then block me if I try to reply. It’s like a scam but from mobiles in various places. All these calls seem to come from Manchester codes but the numbers keep changing, even the ones I’ve blocked keep popping up again. Honestly, it’s a proper nuisance and needs to be cracked down on ASAP.

As soon as I picked up, they just cut off.

It showed as possible spam, so I just let it ring out and didn’t pick up.

Got a call pushing solar panels on me, I told them straight away I wasn’t interested. She wouldn’t drop it, going on about how energy prices are going up. I said again, no thanks on the solar panels, and then suddenly she switches to giving me pension tips! I just told her I don’t take advice from strangers who know nothing about me, and then I ended the call.
