My phone provider stopped the call, said it was spam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, saying they had a discount and wanted to check if I was having any issues with my phone. The weird thing was, it didn’t sound like they were in a proper call centre. I could hear someone else talking quietly in the background which felt really dodgy. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

I rang them back and they claimed to be EE. I told them I’m not with EE and asked them to take me off their call list. Then they just hung up on me quickly. It’s totally a scam, no doubt about it.
