6 monthsJust got another annoying call about my electric bill. Sounds like it's from India again. So frustrating!India7 monthsThey kept calling saying they were from the network 3 and that my SIM card was no good. I just got fed up and ended up blocking their number.8 monthsSo, these people called saying they were from 3. I played along and listened to their whole spiel, but then they started asking for my bank details, full name and address. When I told them I'd call 3 directly to check, they just started shouting at me and then cut the call. Proper dodgy behaviour.9 monthsGot a call claiming to be from Three saying my SIM would be cut off in a couple of days. When I asked who they were, the bloke just told me to know my own name. I asked him the same back and he just ended the call. Within 20 minutes, I got two calls like this - one from Manchester 0161 564 4502 and another from London 020 3795 6963. Both were obviously dodgy scam attempts.ManchesterLondon1 yearI had a funny feeling about the call, but thought it could be from a company nearby, so I let it ring out. They rang again almost immediately. No message left, which made me think it wasn’t a genuine call at all. When I got back home, I looked up the number on the excellent 'Who Called Me' site and I reckon I did the right thing by not picking up! Just like someone else mentioned earlier, I always make sure to drop a comment and show my appreciation to the folks who run this website.1 yearMy phone flagged the call as spam, so I didn't answer it. Later, I found a voicemail that was just a few seconds of hold music.1 yearSomebody rang saying they were from Vodafone with a promo to share, and then asked me for my info. I told them if they're legit Vodafone, they should give me the details first! They just ended the call right away. The longer I mess with these people, hopefully fewer folks get caught out by this stuff.Vodafone1 yearJust another spam call, really... They ring, I don’t pick up, no voicemail or anything, then they never ring back again. Right away I jump on 'who called me' to see if anyone else has flagged it, and guess what? Loads of people have already tagged it as a scam or spam. So, like always, I add my two pence to warn others. Massive thanks to the folks behind 'Who called me' - top notch service that really helps us all out!1 yearThey called saying they were from 3 network, but it's definitely a scam. Watch out!1 yearI got a call from someone saying “hello ma’am, calling from your network company”… I just ended the call but they kept ringing back. When I asked which network they meant, they didn’t answer, so I’ve just blocked the number now.Submit Your Own Report (0161 564 2857)
