A caller contacted me from this number, insisting they were a PPI firm aimed at refunding some PPI cash linked to an old loan of mine. They requested the name of my bank, which immediately raised my eyebrows. I couldn’t shake off the feeling that they were fishing for my bank details. As I expressed my doubts about her intentions, she abruptly hung up on me. Quite the dodgy encounter, if you ask me!
