Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they were ringing from Currys PC World about a phone deal at £35 a month. I fumbled around a bit trying to make sense of it, then got passed onto a "manager." She insisted she was with Currys PC World too, but when I told her I wasn’t convinced and asked for evidence, she just ended the call. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call saying they were from the Council about sorting my repairs 😂 Very generous of them, not really. I do have a few things that need fixing, and eventually they sent someone round. The only folks aware are the Tenant repairs team, so you'd think they’d have told or maybe my Housing association, the Council itself. Got a call from someone pretending to be the Council about fixing stuff in my flat 😂 Yeah right, like they care 🤔 I actually do have a couple of repairs, and eventually they did come round. Got a call from 0161 554 0416 earlier, claiming there were repairs needed at a property we're supposedly renting. Problem is, we don’t rent anywhere and there’s no repairs to be done. Pretty clear that it was a scam. Told them straight to remove us from their list and to never bother us again. Honestly, these sorts of calls are just ridiculous and the whole outfit ought to be closed down, with those in charge facing proper legal consequences.
