got a missed call earlier today from 01615500121 but no voicemail was left. when i rang back, an automated message said something about ubs trading as ge and it was a blocked number. defo scammers in my opinion. they try to get you to answer some survey questions just to steal info. i’ve had loads of calls from different numbers like these all over the UK. best not to engage with them at all.

It seemed quite helpful at first. They already knew my name, and even where I lived, which my mates also know. They started asking about how I live and stuff, but I just said no to everything. Then they tried to leave a message for me, but I ended up hanging up.

So, this guy, sounded Asian, kept calling me, but when I pressed him for my personal info he couldn’t give me much at all. All he managed was saying my surname and an address - pretty useless if you ask me. I told him straight up, "If I look your number up online, it’ll show as a scammer!" Honestly, folks, don’t just take these calls. Make them prove they know loads about you. If they can’t, then they definitely aren’t legit. Real companies you’ve dealt with would know your full details no problem.
