I keep getting calls from numbers starting with 0161 549, but the last four digits keep changing between 1310 and 1317. Every time one rings, I end up blocking it straight away.

Normally I wouldn’t pick up if I don’t know the number, but this time I did. After a little pause, a lady answered and it was clear English wasn’t her first language. She seemed like she was reading off a script or something. She then asked to talk to someone by initials of my first and middle name! That was enough for me, so I quickly ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

some bloke rang me claiming to be from some firm but never mentioned which one. when i asked the reason for the call, he just went quiet. i told him bye and hung up. honestly, it felt really odd.
