Got a call from an Indian lady trying to get me to renew my life insurance policy. I told her I was fine with what I had, but she went on saying that after I turn 65, all the premiums I paid would be lost and my family wouldn’t get a penny. I was like, well, isn't that the whole point of insurance?! She kept pushing me to take a bigger plan. Eventually, I ended the call and blocked the number. Definitely felt like a scam.

There was this guy with a foreign accent calling, and you could hear loads of people chatting in the background like it was some massive call centre. He said he needed to go over my life insurance plan. I told him straight up not to ring back and that I was putting his number on block, which I actually did. Still, they kept ringing from the blocked number, annoying as hell. This was the first time I had to block a phone number like that!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from Alavon Funeral Services. He tried to get me to agree to a £27 a month plan for 25 years. I said no thanks, and suddenly he got really rude, telling me I didn’t have the brains to get how good the policy was. Nice bloke, he just ended the call on me.
