I got a call from someone claiming to be Samantha Green at R G Consultancy, supposedly from their recruitment team. She said she wasn’t in the office and then gave some dodgy excuse about being off. The whole thing felt dodgy, especially since the job on Indeed for Assistant Accountant didn’t seem anything like what she described. I tried asking questions but this woman, who sounded really patronising, refused to give straight answers while I was recording the call. Having dealt with call centres before where calls are recorded, it was obvious to me she was being untruthful.
